Film Review: The Expendables 3

" The World's Most Beloved Action Heroes From The 80's, 90's and today amass for one of this summer's biggest blockbusters."

The Expendables 3, picks up as the beloved quintessential hit man crew, Barney (Stallone),
Christmas (Jason Statham) and the rest of the team come face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill, or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables team members, recruiting individuals who are younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-school style versus high-tech expertise in the Expendables’ most personal battle yet.
The Expendables 3 is an action packed foray filled with  good ,dumb fun.The explosions are huge, the action is over the top and the one liners are to die for. As the 2014 summer blockbuster season winds down, The Expendables 3 solidifies it's self as one of the must see movies of the summer. Admittedly the bevy of A list action stars normally doesn't work but EX3 follows the same formula from it's first two predecessors which truly works. There is quite allot of tongue and cheek humor throughout the film, as it is safe to say that Stallone makes good use of both satire and parody to fit the film series as a whole. Expendables 3 truly nails the action film formula and leaves the movie goer with their blood pumping, and ready to battle impossible odds just like the beloved heroes of the franchise !
