Recap: The 2014 CMA Music Fest " Country Music's Night To Rock"

"Country Music's Biggest Stars amassed in Nashville  for a night of Rock and good times."

   Live from LP Field-two of the hottest names in Country Music, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert opened the night with a rockin'  duet from their new single  "Somethin' Bad ". After the duo's amped up and sensual performance, Florida Georgia line kept the momentum going with a killer set and a very affectionate shout out to "Music City".  The hit single "Chainsaw" was performed by fan favorite The Band Perry to a roaring crowd. The sibling  trio performed their set with sweat and vigor as fans sang along enthusiastically.

   Out of the nights stellar line up, Brantly Gilbert stole the show with a mesmerizing light show and crowd pleasing ballad about "small town throwdows." The Blake Shelton Golf Cart skit, that bridged his performance was extremely entertaining and provided a nice intro for his song "Come A Little Closer".
Rascal Flats did an extream praiseworthy performance of Pharell Williams  hit single "Happy", while Little Big Town, Host of the night's event gave a spirited performance. 22 Year old hunter hays stole the hearts of every lady at the show as he reminded them why, "You're Name Would Be A Good Tattoo".
Later in the evening Luke Bryan promoted his tenth number #1 single and recent cover of People Weekly , while performing a star studded set. The two most anticipated performances of the night went to Tim McGraw for his performance with Faith Hill as well as The Zack Brown Band who did an outstanding cover of Bon Jovi's "Dead or Alive" with legendary guitarist Richie Sambora. Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum rounded the night out with honorable mentions going to Thomas Rhett, Justin Moore and others.
The famed Darius Rucker finally closed the night out. With such as star studded line up it's know wonder tickets sold out in just 15 weeks before the event ! What was your favorite or most memorable part of the night ? Let us know in the comments section below !
