Join The Legacy of Amy Whinehouse while Creating Your Very Own

To commemorate the 10 year anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s Back In Black, Island Records partnered with the album’s producers, Mark Ronson and Salaam Remi, for a fan contest that breathes new life to the Singer + Songwriter's ’ legacy. The Amy Winehouse Vevo channel posted new lyric videos for “Back to Black”, “Rehab”, “Tears Dry” and “Just Friends” which features a link to download the original backing track. With lyrics and backing tracks in hand, fans have all they need to film and upload their own covers of the songs to YouTube.

Ronson and Remi will judge the entries and pick a winner, who will get to record their performance in studio and have their video premiered on Island’s YouTube Channel. Not only is this a chance for you to find your voice, but all the proceeds that come from the Back to Black Challenge will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation which supports and empowers children and young adults in need through music therapy and music education and works to prevent the effects of drug and alcohol misuse on young people.
