HERE'S HOW YOU CAN HELP VICTIMS OF HURRICANE DORIAN

Hurricane Dorian is the second strongest Atlantic storm on record (part of a larger, worrying trend—but that’s another article) and experts are urging caution for those in the storm’s path. The damage inflicted on the Bahamas is already being described as “catastrophic” and as images and videos pour in of those who’ve had their lives overturned by the storm, including the estimated 13,000 homes that were severely damaged or destroyed, many are looking for ways to get involved in the rescue operation. If you’re one of them, here are a few organizations doing good work and ways you can help them do it.
Bahamas Red Cross is already on the ground, and they’re looking for donations. Nonperishable goods, baby supplies and bedding are in high demand right now. Go here to learn more.

Bahamas Relief is looking for toiletries, diapers, canned goods, cleaning supplies, tents, power generators and, crucially, water. They stress that they don’t need clothes at the moment. Go here to learn more.

The International Medical Corps is delivering emergency healthcare to those in medical emergencies in the Bahamas. You can donate to their efforts here.

World Central Kitchen was started by famed D.C. chef José Andrés to serve food to those displaced by natural disasters. His organization shows up after disasters have moved on to provide meals for those affected by them. Andrés is already in the Bahamas, and his organization is accepting donations now.

Tupac Is Alive According To A New Photo

IF TUPAC SHAKUR WAS ALIVE RIGHT NOW, HE WOULD BE TURNING 48-YEARS-OLD ON JUNE 16, 1971. ACCORDING TO A CONSPIRACY THEORY, TUPAC SHAKUR IS NOT ONLY ALIVE, BUT THEY CLAIM TO HAVE A PHOTO THAT “PROVES” THAT THE LEGENDARY RAPPER DIDN’T DIE.

TUPAC SHAKUR DIED ON SEPTEMBER 13, 1996, AFTER SUCCUMBING TO HIS FOUR GUNSHOT WOUNDS HE SUFFERED FROM A DRIVE-BY SHOOTING IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, SIX DAYS EARLIER. OR AT LEAST THAT’S WHAT WE’RE TOLD TO BELIEVE. THERE ARE MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE TUPAC SHAKUR, WHO WAS BORN LESANE PARISH CROOKS, NEVER DIED AND IS STILL ALIVE TO THIS DAY.

CONSPIRACY THEORIES CONTEND THAT SHAKUR FAKED HIS DEATH SO THAT HIS ENEMIES WOULD THINK HE WAS DEAD. THERE HAVE BEEN ALLEGED TUPAC SIGHTINGS IN CUBA AT A BOSTON CELTICS GAME, DRINKING HAND GRENADES IN NEW ORLEANS, AT THE BET AWARDS, AND KIM KARDASHIAN SWORE SHE SPOTTED TUPAC. SUGE KNIGHT’S SON SAID SHAKUR WAS STILL ALIVE AND LIVING IN MALAYSIA.

THE NEWEST “TUPAC IS ALIVE” SIGHTING DOESN’T GIVE THE LOCATION OR THE DATE OF THIS …
